BEIRUT: Men fire shots after armed clashes erupted in the streets of Beirut, Lebanon, on October 14 before a protest over the dismissal of a judge in the investigation into the deadly 2020 port explosion. Supporters of Iranian-backed Hezbollah and its main ally Amal were heading for the Lebanese capital's courthouse when snipers on rooftops fired on protesters forcing demonstrators and journalists to take cover according to the country's interior minister.It was the worst violence in the city in more than 10 years.
